Mia is a special dog for her owner Suzanne, not because she is a show champion, for she is not. She is, however, a search and rescue dog who has graduated from her club tests and who has gone on to the state police search and rescue tests in the state of MA.

Mia has certified in wilderness cadaver search and continues to serve her owner in this work.
